Sequoia Healthcare District provides grants to non-profits and government agencies that offer health programs and services to District residents through our Caring Community and Healthy Schools Initiative grants.

The SHD Grants program provides funding to local community and school-based programs that promote our mission to enhance the lives and health of District residents. The program is organized into 2 main funding categories: community-based and school-based.

Caring Community Grants

Each year, SHD provides grants through our competitive Caring Community Grants program, ranging from $10,000 to $200,000 to local non-profits that offer health services to District residents.

HSI Grants

The Healthy Schools Initiative provides one year competitive grants to community-based organizations to support health programs in schools.
