Our Mission & Vision

Sequoia Healthcare District is committed to improving the health of District residents by enhancing access to care and promoting wellness through responsible stewardship of District taxpayer dollars.

Our Vision is for all District residents to experience optimal physical and mental health at every stage of life.

We strive to return to the community 100% of the net tax revenue within three years in health-related programs and services.

 

California’s healthcare districts are public entities providing community-based healthcare services to residents throughout the state.  Each district is governed by a locally elected board of directors who are directly accountable to the communities they serve. Districts provide a range of services, which may include a hospital, clinic, skilled nursing facility or emergency medical services, as well as education and wellness programs and community grants and scholarship support.
